“Reaching the milestone of 100,000 followers calls for celebration! To mark this achievement, we went on an exciting journey to the Design Museum in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, where we visited their latest exhibition, ‘Mapping Modernity’.
‘Mapping Modernity’ narrates the tale of our world through 250 intricately interesting maps. The narrative of modernity is one of dominance: over nature, populations, and trade routes. Humans positioned themselves at the epicenter of the universe and utilized maps as tools to grasp and control a complex and ever-evolving reality. Each map provides a unique insight into the mindset of its creators and their endeavors to shape the world according to their vision. It’s an absolute must-see for anyone with a penchant for exploration and understanding.
Unfortunately, the exhibition is already closed now, but our experience was nothing short of enlightening. Outside the museum, we popped open a bottle of champagne, toasting to the incredible journey we’ve shared with our dedicated followers.
